Junior High and High School students are invited to participate in a yearly service week which is mission work locally in the greater community of Auburn and at the parish for the youth during the summer. Youth Service Week 2023 The Youth Service Week from July 31st - August 5th was a wonderful experience for our High School and Middle School Youth who participated in serving the needs of our parish community. Congratulations for a job well done to all youth participants! These hardworking youth did various chores throughout the week at our parish grounds led by Larry Proud and Tom Boulanger, and at the Auburn Food Bank. The also vacuumed and wiped down all the pews inside our church, our chapel and the classrooms in the parish center. Most importantly, the mission week accomplished the task of creating a strong bond among our youth as they experienced the joy of serving together and bringing the Love of Jesus into their work sites. Plus, we were all blessed to join the pilgrimage to St James on Aug. 6th for the local celebration of the World Youth Day (WYD) held in Seattle. |
