Parish School of Religion Children's Ministry
Serving the faith needs of children and their families from birth through sixth grade.
Jesus said, “Let the children come to me” Matthew 19:14.
Classes for children in grades PK-5 are offered Wednesdays from 6:30-7:45pm in the Parish Center Mid-September-May. The curriculum is based on the four pillars of the Faith: Creed, Morals, Sacraments, and Prayer, in alignment with the learning expectations approved by the Archdiocese of Seattle. Catechists help children grow in their faith through approved textbooks, engaging activities, and prayer.
Grade level focuses are as follows:
K-Creation, Jesus, and God’s Family
1-Creation, Jesus, and the Church
2-Reconciliation, Eucharist, Mass
3-The Catholic Church
Each class balances information and activities appropriate for each age level to help our parish children learn as much as they can about our Catholic faith.
