Wednesday Faith Formation Programs
Serving the faith needs of children and their families from birth through sixth grade.
Jesus said, “Let the children come to me” Matthew 19:14.
First through Fifth Grade
2020-2021 Program Theme is "Catholicism, Community, and Consistency"
Classes for children in grades 1-5 are offered Wednesdays from 6:30-7:10pm virtually on Zoom starting September 30th through May 26th.
The curriculum is based on the four pillars of the Faith: Creed, Morals, Sacraments, and Prayer, in alignment with the learning expectations approved by the Archdiocese of Seattle. Catechists help children grow in their faith through approved textbooks, engaging activities, and prayer.
Grade level focuses are as follows:
1-Creation, Jesus, and the Church
2-Reconciliation, Eucharist, Mass
3-The Catholic Church
Each class balances information and activities appropriate for each age level to help our parish children learn as much as they can about our Catholic faith while helping them grow in our Catholic community.
Preschool and Kindergarten
During the 2020-2021 school year we will not be able to serve our youngest parishioners weekly using our virtual format. However, we will be providing a monthly newsletter and faith filled story time for those ages 3-6 in our parish. Please fill out a registration form and mark that you have a preschool or kindergarten student to sign up for these monthly Zooms! No registration fee will be collected for this year's early childhood program.
Upcoming Story Time Dates
October 28th @6pm
November 18th @6pm
