PLUGGED – IN” Youth Service Week 2022
The Youth Service Week from June 26th - June 30th was a wonderful experience for our High School and Middle School Youth who participated in serving the needs of our parish community. Congratulations for a job well done to everyone from our three parishes from Holy Spirit (Kent}, St Stephen (Renton) and Holy Family (Auburn). These hardworking youth did various chores at the Auburn Food Bank and prepared Ditty Bags for the Seafarers Ministry of the Archdiocese. Most importantly, the mission week accomplished the task of creating a strong bond among our youth as they experienced the joy of serving together and bringing the Love of Jesus to their work sites.
“RESTORED” Youth Service Week 2021
Last summer, the Youth Ministries from Holy Spirit (Kent), St Stephen the Martyr (Renton) and Holy Family (Auburn) held a joint-parish Youth Summer Service & Retreat event called “RESTORED”. The High School youth (and incoming 9th graders) were invited to participate in a summer
mission service and retreat experience for five days. They experienced
learning the Catholic Social Teachings, serving at the Holy Family church grounds and the Auburn Food Bank, and be in retreat with the Steubenville Youth Conference for the weekend.
