RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Do you know of anyone who wishes to be a Catholic? Do you have loved ones who have been away from the church and want to return and re-learn more about the Catholic faith? If you are planning to get married in the Catholic Church and are missing the Sacrament of Confirmation, we can help you complete this process in your life journey. Our RCIA meetings are on Thursdays from 6-8PM in the Parish Office. Please call the Parish Office, 253-833-5130.

RCIC (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children)

  • RCIC preparation is completed through Children's Ministry programs for children in grades 2-5. Children attend classes on Wednesday evenings for two years. If students are in grades 4+ additional preparation classes take place on Sundays during the second year of preparation. More information here.
  • RCIC preparation for older students in grade 6-12 is under the supervision of the Youth Ministry program and also consists of at least two consecutive years of preparation with weekly classes in addition to sacrament preparation classes also weekly during the second year. Visit here for more information.
  • Children who have been baptized with a valid baptism in another faith, and seeking Full Communion with the Catholic Church will still take part in all the RCIC events during the second year.
